Thailand to cut quarantine for vaccinated foreigners 

Thailand will reduce mandatory quarantine from 14 to seven days starting April for foreigners arriving in the country who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, Health Minister Anutin Charnvirankul said on Monday, Report informs, citing Reuters.

Vaccinations must be administered within three months of the travel period and travelers will be required to show negative COVID-19 test results, he said, adding that those who have not been inoculated but have COVID-19 free certificates would be quarantined for 10 days.

The first COVID-19 case was recorded in Thailand on January 13, 2020. So far, more than 26,400 people have been infected with the coronavirus, Of the cases reported, 97.5% (25,777) have recovered, 0.3% (85) have died, and 2.2% (579) are receiving treatment or are in isolation (460 are in conventional hospitals and 119 in field hospitals).
