State agency: Preparations underway to create tourism infrastructure in Azerbaijan's liberated territories

Design and estimate documentation is being prepared for the creation of tourism infrastructure in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Azada Huseynova told reporters, Report informs.

According to her, basic infrastructure will be created primarily in areas with tourism potential.

“As President Ilham Aliyev said, the liberated territories have high tourism potential. For this purpose, the historical territory of the village of Tugh, Khojavand district, was allocated to the State Historical-Architectural and Natural Reserve ‘Tugh’. The State Tourism Agency continues to work in areas with tourism potential. The Sugovushan Recreation Park is one of such projects,” she said.

Huseynova noted that the State Agency plans to create the infrastructure necessary to meet the primary needs of tourists in the liberated territories.
