Second meeting of BSEC on tourism held under chairmanship of Azerbaijan

On May 7, the 2nd meeting of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) working group on cooperation in tourism sector was held in the video-conference format, Report informs with reference to the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting chaired by Jalil Malikov, the Deputy Head of the Office of the State Tourism Agency and Head of the International Relations Department, a number of discussions were held, including the sustainable development of tourism in the region countries, the events planned for 2023-2024 under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan, and the work done in the field of expanding relations between the members of the organization, as well as about the first meeting of tourism educational institutions of BSEC organized by the State Tourism Agency in Baku on April 22-23.

Within the framework of the meeting, the participating representatives from the member states made presentations on the current tourism potential of the countries they represent, and a summary report on the conclusion of the discussions was adopted.

The first meeting of the working group on cooperation in the tourism sector of the BSEC was held in October last year.
