South Africa seeks to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in tourism, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa, told journalists.
According to Report, she said very good relations formed between the two countries.
Earlier this year, the speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament visited South Africa, she said, adding that Azerbaijan has an embassy in South Africa, which promotes the development of trade between the two countries.
According to her, she is visiting Baku because South Africa enjoys good relations with Azerbaijan and is a member of NAM's parliamentary assembly.
