"A number of experts on tourism forecast that the tourism sector will differ from previous years in the future," Press Secretary of the State Tourism Agency Kenan Guluzade said.
According to him, people will pay attention to sanitary-epidemiological conditions while planning travels in the future: "Ensuring the health of people, medical protection will be one of the significant issues in tourism. Thus, people will pay more attention to such issues while choosing hotels and countries. Tourism will be in a different condition in the near future."
Coronavirus pandemic had a negative impact on tourism in the world and Azerbaijan. In order to reduce this impact, state support is planned to be provided to the tourism subjects. Entrepreneurial facilities in the country are expected to have tax concessions. These concessions will be made after ratification by the parliament.
