Nasimi Gardens complex offers extensive visitor amenities

The Nasimi Gardens complex in Shamakhi has been equipped with a range of facilities designed to ensure visitors' comfort, according to Zahra Tagiyeva, project coordinator of the complex.

Speaking to journalists, Taghiyeva said the newly opened complex would play an important role in further developing tourism in the region.

The 120-hectare Nasimi Gardens complex features various recreational facilities, family entertainment infrastructure, art installations covering different themes, and catering venues. More than 150,000 plants have also been planted across the site.

The complex's main building is a three-story structure where visitors can obtain information about venues, tourist routes and available services. It also houses the Capybara Cafe and a souvenir shop.

A four-story building contains a museum with an extensive exhibition reflecting the ancient and modern history and cultural heritage of the district. The building also includes the main restaurant hall, an event hall and a spacious terrace.

Other facilities include themed houses built in the style of Hobbit homes at Magic Village, the Honey Nest cafe aimed particularly at children, a large children's playground and a 9-meter-high observation tower.

Works by around 100 artists and sculptors are also displayed throughout the complex.

"Overall, every venue in the complex has been equipped with all the necessary conditions to ensure visitors' comfort," Tagiyeva said.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Nasimi Gardens complex in Shamakhi on September 17.
