The Georgian government has prepared a plan of proposals consisting of 10 articles regarding the tourism sector, local bureau of Report informs citing Georgia's Business Media publication.
The document was drafted in response to Russia's ban on direct flights to Georgia.
The first article of the plan proposes the appointment of shuttle buses from Baku to Tbilisi.
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said that negotiations are underway with Azerbaijani airlines. According to her, the airline carriers are offered to include their shuttle buses that will operate en route Baku-Tbilisi to the price of air tickets.
The document also reflects articles on subsidizing charter flights, working with diplomatic corps, inviting famous figures to Georgia, strengthening propaganda campaigns and proposals on other areas.
