"Khinalig is a unique place not only because of its architecture but also because of the occupation and lifestyle of its people. The migration process here, settling in yaylak (summer pasture in the mountains) and kishlak (winter hut) every year, is exciting. We prepared a document called "Khinalig village and migration route" and submitted it to UNESCO. This document has already passed preliminary and technical review. We have received initial positive opinions about the values of the area. Documents are prepared according to the results of the preliminary technical inspection. Until November 7, these documents will be submitted to UNESCO and discussed at the committee's next meeting if there are no changes in the plans of the World Heritage Center next year. We hope that at the end of this discussion, Khinalig village and migration route will be included in the World Heritage List," she said.
