The member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) are considered the target tourism markets of Azerbaijan, Kanan Gasimov, the Chief of Staff of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, told reporters on the sidelines of the 1st ECO Tour Operators Forum held in Baku, Report informs.
"Increasing the number of tourists coming to the country from those markets is one of our main goals. From this point of view, the participation of tourism companies in the processes is of additional importance. We are trying to achieve the creation of such relations between the member states," Gasimov emphasized.
The 1st ECO Tour Operators Forum is being held in Baku under the joint organization of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
