International environmental exhibition opens in Baku

Baku. 19 November. REPORT.AZ/ Today, the 5th anniversary International exhibition "Caspian: Technologies for the Environment" ("CTE 2014") on the protection of environment  opened in Baku Expo Center.

Report informs, the exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and Public Union "International Dialogue for Environmental Action" (IDEA). The organizations of the exhibition are “Iteca Caspian” and “ITE Group PLC” companies.

The companies of Azerbaijan, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and other countries assembled in "CTE" exhibition. The stand of the Czech Republic is also included in the environmental exhibition for the first time.

The majority of local companies attending the exhibition are the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, as well as the "Clean City" JSC, the State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, the Aero-geodesy Institution, Baku Cartography Factory, the State Land Cadastre and Monitoring Science and Production Center, Planning and Design Institute of the State Committee on Standardization, the State Committee for Metrology and Patent. 

This year, more than 40% of the participants are debutants and both local and foreign companies are among them. "Eldan Recycling", "Eco Engineering 2000", "GAUS Electrical Automation", "MRT System International", "Salvador", "Santes Incinerator", "Thrace Group", "Waterland" and others are of those companies. The debutants present the materials against the erosive effect, waterproofing systems, processing systems for the fog forming from different types of gas, geotextile tubes, bentonite geosynthetic insulation materials, vacuum pumps, pneumatic jacks, mobile packaging systems for the transport of pulverized materials and liquids, composite materials that allow to reduce the construction costs and extend the period of disintegration and wear process in materials for paving the asphalt, waste incineration systems and stainless steel devices in the exhibition.

In addition, new technologies for cleaning the water and soil and the management of toxic waste will be presented by SOCAR and BP.
