Greece to reduce quarantine for tourists

Greece will reduce the quarantine for travelers who arrive in the country from December 18 to January 7 from ten to three days, Report says, citing Kathimerini newspaper.

The Greek authorities announced the easing of restrictive measures during the Christmas holidays. From December 13 to January 7, stores were allowed to work in issuing online orders. Hairdressers and bookstores will open in the country from December 14.

Churches will only be open for Christmas and Epiphany. The maximum number of visitors will not exceed nine people in the Church and 25 people in the Cathedral. There will be no water blessing ceremony for the Epiphany.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Greece has reported more than 121 thousand coronavirus cases, while more than 3.3 thousand died.
