First tourist trips to Shusha to be organized

Tourist visits to Shusha city begin on the eve of the Novruz holiday - from March 18, State Tourism Agency said, Report informs.

The first tourist trips will be conducted once a week. In the next stage, it is planned to increase the number of tours based on demand. Citizens can apply to tourism companies (tour agents) from March 6 to participate in tours.

In 2 and 3-day tours, for the first time in Shusha, with an overnight stay in a hotel, tourists will get an opportunity to visit the ruins of the city center of Fuzuli, the first martyr's monument, Jidir plain, Vagif's mausoleum, Mehmandarov's house, Bulbul's house museum, the Yukhari Govhar Aga mosque, the Square of Bullet-scarred Busts, Shusha fortress, Shusha's Ganja gates and the Khary Bulbul symbol, the Kazanchi Church, and the Shusha Realniy School.

The cost will be 215 manats for 2-day tours with one night stay and 370 for 3-day tours. Both packages include bus transfer, hotel accommodation, breakfast, and guide service.

After the glorious victory of the heroic Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War, tourist trips will be organized for the first time to the liberated territories.

The project, which is a part of the Great Return policy, aims to organize safe tourist trips to the cultural capital for Azerbaijani citizens who have reached the age of 18, as well as to increase economic activity in the territories freed from occupation.
