Direct flights may be launched between Azerbaijan and Serbia

Prospects for the development of tourism relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, the impact of the pandemic on tourism and projects implemented during this period, as well as the exchange of experiences were discussed today between Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev and Serbian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dragan Vladisavljević.

Report informs that Nagiyev spoke about the tourism potential of the liberated Azerbaijani territories and the work done to reconstruct and restore the tourism infrastructure. According to him, Karabakh will attract foreigners and will be recognized as a new tourist destination in the future.

The ambassador expressed confidence that mutual visits would increase in the coming years and connections would further develop.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on increasing mutual investments in tourism, taking appropriate measures to open direct flights, and planned activities to restore tourism in the post-pandemic period.
