Cuba allows foreign tourists to go on trips outside resorts

Trips outside the island resorts of Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo are again available to foreign tourists in Cuba, Report informs, citing the Association of Tour Operators in Russia (ATOR).

The improvement in the epidemiological situation in the Jardines del Rey archipelago and other regions of the country has made it possible to resume sightseeing outside the tourist area.

According to Juan Carlos Escalon, Cuban Embassy Tourism Adviser, jeep safaris in the cities of Florencia and Cunagua, trips to the Topes de Collantes National Park (without entering the city of Trinidad), as well as jeep safaris around the host islands have been resumed.

Havana is still closed for sightseeing trips.
