Chilean authorities to let entry of unvaccinated travelers

The Chilean government has decided to lift all restrictions on entry into the country through the checkpoints open at that time from April 14, country's Deputy Minister of Health Cristobal Cuadrado said, Report informs, citing TASS.

“Starting this Thursday, we will be in the ‘threat level one’ phase. This threat level implies a situation where the same strains are circulating in the country as in other countries. Therefore, at this stage there are no travel restrictions for those traveling from country or entering it," he said at a press conference.

Currently, only foreigners who have been vaccinated with vaccines recognized in Chile can enter Chile. At the same time, travelers are required to obtain approval of their certificate from the Ministry of Health of Chile in advance.
