Baku-Urumqi flight resumes

Baku. 10 June. REPORT.AZ/ In the coming days, will be restored the flights in the direction of Baku-Urumqi (China) and open flights to Guangzhou, China.

Report informs, representative of China Southern Airlines Chin Li Hong told reporters in Baku.

"On July 3, will be carried out regular flights on the route Baku-Urumqi-Guangzhou twice a week - on Wednesdays and Sundays. Departure from Baku at 23:05, arrival in Urumqi - at 07:00. The same plane after 2.5 hours at 09:40 will fly to Guangzhou and will arrive at 14:35. Departure from Guangzhou at 12:50 and arrive in Baku at 21:05", he said.

Chin Li Hong added that the company has been operating in Azerbaijan for 10 years, however flights to Urumqi direction were suspended a year ago after the devaluation of Azerbaijani manat. "But with the flights will resume next month. Ticket price for route Baku-Guangzhou will be 280 euros (round trip), in the direction of Baku-Urumqi 260 euros (round trip)", he added.

Notably, the flights will be operated by Boeing-737 aircraft.
