The Eurasian Mountain Resorts Festival will be held in Azerbaijan in March 2025, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
An event was held with the participation of representatives of the Eurasian Mountain Resorts Alliance during the Tashkent International Tourism Exhibition dedicated to "Tourism on the Silk Road" in Uzbekistan. The event discussed the development of cooperation with member states during the alliance's activities, work carried out to expand collaboration and innovations.
During the event, Igor Shaulov, Commercial Director of Shahdag Mountain Resort CJSC under the agency, provided detailed information to the alliance members and event participants about the complex's winter tourism opportunities, new projects, and planned international competitions. During the event, the organization of the next Eurasian Mountain Resorts Festival was transferred to Shahdag Mountain Resort and it was decided to hold the event in March 2025.
The previous Eurasian Mountain Resorts Festival was held in Sochi, Russia. The event was attended by 150 representatives from resort industries and partner companies from 9 countries.
The Eurasian Mountain Resorts Alliance, of which Shahdag Mountain Resort is a member, currently includes mountain resorts such as Amirsoy of Uzbekistan, Shymbulak and Oi Qaragai of Kazakhstan, Rosa Khutor of Russia, and Monapark Yong Pyong Ski Resort of South Korea.
