Azerbaijan’s tourism potential showcased in four Indian cities

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has organized a series of promotional events to highlight the tourism potential of Azerbaijan in Bangalore, Pune, and Kolkata, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency.

Additionally, a networking event took place in Mumbai.

In these sessions, eight local entities, including Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, joined forces with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board. The events, attended by over 100 Indian tourism delegates and Azerbaijani company representatives, aimed to foster and enhance mutual cooperation.

As a part of the visit, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board also held a press conference attended by over 40 members of the local press and organized a networking event that brought together media and tourism stakeholders from India.

During the first five months of 2024, Azerbaijan welcomed 90,670 Indian visitors, marking an increase of more than 2.6 times compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
