The Azerbaijan Tourism Board under the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan presented the luxury tourism products of the country at the Luxury Travel Mart event held on September 18-20 in the cities of Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan, Report informs, citing the agency.
B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with 25 leading tourism operators and travel agencies of Kazakhstan at the event, where mainly luxury tourism products were presented. Detailed information was provided about ourism potential of Azerbaijan, including ski resorts, Baku city tours, health and thermal recreation centers, as well as business and luxury tourism products.
A presentation on the main tourist destinations of Azerbaijan was held for 50 tourism agencies representing Kazakhstan at the business breakfast organized within the framework of the event, which is a convenient platform for strengthening cooperation in the field of tourism and establishing new business relations.
The participants were informed about winter sports, cultural tourism, health offers and tourism experiences of Azerbaijan.
In January-August 2024, 58,082 people visited Azerbaijan from Kazakhstan, which is 64% more year-on-year.
