Olympic participants dissatisfied with living conditions in Paris

Some athletes who will participate in the Paris Summer Olympic Games expressed their dissatisfaction with the living conditions in the Olympic village, Le Figaro said, Report informs.

Athletes complain on social networks about cardboard beds, food, and lack of TV.

"This is no joke, as you can see, the Olympic bed is made of cardboard," said French judoka Julien Brulard. Australian water polo player Matilda Kearns confirmed his words.

It was emphasized that the cardboard beds were not a surprise for the athletes, as they were already used at the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. But even then this step was criticized. For this year's Olympics, the organizers have ordered 16,000 such beds from the Japanese company Airweave.

According to Le Figaro, athletes are dissatisfied with food, lack of TV in living rooms. In confirmation, the publication cites the posts of American gymnast Aleah Finnegan, her Belgian counterpart Maellyse Brassart and New Zealand swimmer Lewis Clareburt.
