The number of teams in the Azerbaijan Professional Chovkan League will be increased, Bahruz Nabiyev, the Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan (ARAF), told Report.
Nabiyev said that 12 teams will compete in the tournament:
"The incoming Professional Chovkan League will start in March and continue until December. In this year's league, the number of chovkan teams will increase to 12. This means there will be 22 rounds over 2 periods and 132 games will be played."
Ten teams competed in the first Professional Chovkan League, with Sarhadchi claiming the title.
