Colombia participates in World Gymnastics Championship in Baku

A delegation of Colombian athletes participates in the 35th Trampoline Gymnastics World Championship held in Baku between November 18 and 21, and is attended by approximately 300 gymnasts from 33 countries.

Report informs, citing the Colombian Embassy in Baku, that the Colombian delegation, made up of 11 members, is headed by Samir Portillo Diaz, general secretary of the Colombian Gymnastics Federation, and among the athletes are Alex Canizales Garzon, Katish Hidari Recalde Campos, Edwin Quintero Puentes and Ramón Calero.

During the championship, gymnasts will compete in individual and synchronized trampoline jumps, acrobatic track and double mini-trampoline. According to the preliminary schedule of the competitions, the first two days will be qualifying and the last two days will be final. According to the rules, a participant can perform in several programs.
