The DOST concept, initiated by Azerbaijan’s First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, is one of the important achievements of social reforms in recent years, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev said at the international conference “DOST 2023: unified platform for flexible, innovative and sustainable service delivery,” Report informs.
The minister noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev laid down a successful strategy for the social development of Azerbaijan: “This strategy continues and is developed by President Ilham Aliyev. On behalf of the head of state, four packages of social reforms have been implemented over the past five years, additional funds allocated for these reforms have reached 7 billion manats ($4.117 billion), there was a significant increase in social payments.”
It was noted that 159 types of services in DOST centers are provided from a “single window.”
Since 2019, the DOST Agency and 7 DOST centers have been opened, as well as a Smart DOST point in the Agali village of liberated Zangilan. Over the past period, DOST centers provided services to 1.730 million citizens, the satisfaction of citizens with these services reached 98.2 percent.
