Hundreds of thousands of jobs are expected to be created in the liberated areas, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev said at the conference "Development of vocational education in Azerbaijan for a strong economy: a vision of the future", Report informs.
The deputy minister said that it is important to build social infrastructure in those areas and provide stable employment for those returning there:
"Because all the infrastructure was completely destroyed. All this poses serious challenges to the country in terms of employing the population. I believe Azerbaijan successfully copes with all challenges, and the work done is a clear example."
Aliyev emphasized that the assessment of employment opportunities is being organized: "Preference is given to those with priority qualifications and professions, as well as those with employment history. The vocational training tool is also given importance. We regularly conduct labor market studies. Today, there is a need to increase the prestige of vocational education. Young people's interest in this field should be strengthened."
