He noted that the exploitation term of the seismic stations purchased in 2003 has expired: "We simply operate them with cautious. Therefore, we plan to replace the seismic stations in the nearest future. Our goal is to mount GPS stations in all areas of the republic. We have addressed the respective structures to this end. There is no problem in the activity of the latest model stations that we bought in 2010-2012 and 2013."

He noted that today there are 62 seismic stations in Azerbaijan: "At present there are 24 GPS stations in the area of the country. They operate together with the complex stations. Seismological studies are based on the online surveillance network of 35 telemetric seismic stations. 3 seismic stations are set on the border with Georgia."
