Baku. 17 December. REPORT.AZ/ The demographic situation of Azerbaijan has been announced.
Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee that from the beginning of the year the population of the country increased by 69,645 people and reached 9,967,730 people as of November 1, 2018.
The number of population was 115 people per square kilometer.
52.9 percent of the total population are urban residents ,while rule residents make 47.1% rural residents. 49.9 percent of the total population are men, while 50.1 percent are women.
