Zhara movie premiered in Baku - PHOTO

A long awaited Russian comedy 'Zhara' has been held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.

Report informs that the film demonstration was attended by Emin Agalarov (EMIN), actors of the film, as well as the country's public representatives.

Speaking at the night opening EMIN said that the members of the shooting crew felt special responsibility before each other: "We certainly counted on success but only you, your potential laughter, your smiles today." The author of the idea and producer Teymur Jafarov, in turn, voiced the hope that the viewers in Baku will assess the work of the entire team, which tried to reflect 'the national colorite of the country and the beauty of Baku' in the film.

The film was shot in July last year in Baku as part of the Zhara international music festival.

The cinematographers managed to gather together the main stars of Russia and Azerbaijan for several days. The shooting involved Filip Kirkorov, Nikolay Baskov, Grigoriy Leps, Ani Lorak, EMIN, Valeriya, Iosif Prigojin, Timati, Yegor Krid and others.

The film plots starts in a plane full of Russian estrada celebrities. They all are on their way to Zhara festival in Baku. Among them is Dasha Steklova - the main charactor - Zhara headliner who closes the festival with her show. Starring is Diana Pojarskaya, famous to its viewers for Hotel Eleon soal opera and main roles in Emin Agalarov's music video 'Neveroyatnaya' and 'Wicked Game'.
