An Azerbaijani Idris Jafarov, who currently lives in Ukraine, is the producer of singer Seeya, who is likely to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Report informs.
According to the Report's Eastern Europe Service, the producer of the Romanian singer is a well-known Azerbaijani producer,
Jafarov told Report that the singer will perform the song "Save me".
"Seeya has become quite popular with her song and is a worthy candidate to represent Romania. Popular with her 'Chocolata' song, which set a record with the number of views in Azerbaijan, Seeya has always attracted attention in Europe with her call for justice for the Khojaly genocide. The artist, well-known in Europe, was also known for her active support of Azerbaijan during the 44-day Second Karabakh War in 2020," he added.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be held in Italy this year.
Idris Jafarov, who has lived in Ukraine since 2014, has authored many TV projects in Azerbaijan and worked with famous musicians. He is currently working on joint projects with several musicians from Eastern European countries.
