A pre-premiere screening of the American musical and psychological thriller "Joker: Madness for Two" was held in the premium cinema CineMastercard, located in the shopping center 28 Mall, Report informs.
The main roles of the Joker and Harley Quinn in the film were played by American actor, Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix and the singer Lady Gaga. The film also starred by Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey.
The director of the film is Todd Phillips.
The world premiere of the film took place in the Venice Film Festival competition. The musical received an 11-minute ovation from the audience.
Briefly about the film: Having become the Joker and killed Murray Franklin live on television, Arthur Fleck gets to the Arkham Psychiatric Hospital, where he meets Dr. Harlene Quinzel. Soon they realize that they are madly in love with each other.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the chain of cinemas CineMastercard Zaur Darabzada and the co-founder of the chain of cinemas CineMastercard Adnan Ahmedzada.
Zaur Darabzadeh noted in his speech that the film "Joker 2" is presented in a unique ScreenX format 2 days before the world premiere. He told about the first ScreenX technology in Azerbaijan: "This is a completely new super technology that allows you to enjoy a movie with a viewing angle of 270 degrees. Three projectors and two additional side screens are installed in the cinema hall. The main scenes of the film are shown on the main screen, and the side scenes increase the composition of the frame. Such an extended space allows the viewer to be "inside" the film, while creating new sensations. This format is available only in the premium cinema CineMastercard, located in the 28 Mall".
Also, special guests of the international payment system "Mastercard" within the framework of the Priceless program, celebrities, public figures, journalists, bloggers, entrepreneurs and owners of large organizations participated in the private event.
