"Green Book" wins Oscar in the nomination "Best Film"

Baku. 25 February. REPORT.AZ/ At a ceremony that moved quickly without a host, “Green Book” won best picture, and Spike Lee won his first competitive Oscar for best adapted screenplay. Report informs it was announced at the 91st Academy Awards.

The film tells the story of a working class Italian-American bouncer who is employed as the driver of an African American classical pianist on a tour of venues in the South during the '60s.

Rami Malek won Oscar as the best actor for the role of Freddie Mercury in the film "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Bradley Cooper ("A star is born"), Christian Bale (, Viggo Mortensen ("Green Book"), Willem Dafoe ("At Eternity's Gate ") were also presented in the "Best Actor".
