Report informs that under the Gregorian calendar, the first day of the month of Muharram will be on July 19.
Ashura will be celebrated on July 28.
Blood donation campaigns will traditionally be held on the day of Ashura.
In the month of Muharram, mourning ceremonies are held in connection with the death of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.V.) Imam Hussein (S.A.V.) and members of his family. They were killed in the 61st year of the Hijri calendar.
