Iftikhar: Holding conference in Baku to combat Islamophobia is important for all Muslims

Holding an international conference on combating Islamophobia in Baku is very important for Muslims worldwide, Senior Fellow at the Bridge Initiative at Georgetown University Arsalan Iftikhar told Report.

According to him, the manifestation of Islamophobia is growing all over the world: "Be it in the US, in Europe or Asia. In some countries, it has even reached the level of genocide, such as in Myanmar."

"In this regard, it was vital to bring together world experts and Islamophobia scientists and discuss how the world community can mobilize its forces to solve this problem," the expert said.

Iftikhar stressed that it is crucial for Muslims around the world to show tolerance and hope for a better future for the entire Islamic community.

"The best way to fight Islamophobia is to involve as many Muslims as possible in international relations, the civil society of European countries. Do not demonize them, but show them from the best side," he concluded.
