Executive director: There has never been religious discrimination in Azerbaijan

There has never been religious discrimination in Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Baku International Center of Multiculturalism Ravan Hasanov said speaking at the conference 'Together, we are stronger' dedicated to the second anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory in the Patriotic War.

He noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani army won brilliantly.

"Though some countries made everything possible to hamper our just struggle, they didn't manage to achieve this. In this war, all citizens of Azerbaijan were united and in solidarity. After the de-occupation of our territories, large-scale infrastructural projects have been implemented there. But the enemy is still trying to hinder this process. This process is slowed down by the landmines planted by Armenians."

He noted that Azerbaijan always fought against injustice.

"There has never been religious discrimination in our country. Over the past century, not a single country could achieve such a brilliant Victory as Azerbaijan managed to achieve. The restoration of the liberated lands from scrach without anyone's help requires a great potential, and the Azerbaijani state does the task brilliantly," he said.
