Deputy chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian Community calls on Armenian religious figures

Although Azerbaijan is a Muslim country, there is no discrimination against representatives of any religion, Rafik Danakari, Deputy Chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian Community, told Report.

He visited the Khudavang monastery with the participation of representatives of all religious denominations in Azerbaijan: "We came here for the first time in December 2020. Every time we come, we pray for our martyrs, our President, and our soldiers. We always wish for peace in Azerbaijan since we are a peaceful and hospitable nation. I have always called the Armenian side to learn tolerance from us. Different peoples live in Azerbaijan and there is love, respect, and brotherhood among them. We are born into a tolerant and multicultural society. Therefore, I want to say to the Armenian clergy that we are all Christians. Although Azerbaijan is a Muslim country, there is no discrimination against representatives of any religion."
