Collective prayer held in Aghdam's Juma Mosque after 31 years

For the first time in 31 years, a collective prayer was held in the Juma Mosque in Aghdam, Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the prayer was attended by local and foreign religious leaders who visited the territories liberated from occupation.

The guests were informed about the acts of vandalism committed by Armenians during the years of occupation, including in the Juma Mosque.

Ali Erbas, the President of the Turkish religious affairs authority, recited the adhan (call to prayer) in the mosque, after which the collective prayer was performed.

The religious leaders also visited the Alley of Martyrs, where Eldar Seyidov, the Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fizuli, and Khojavand districts, spoke about the victims of the First Karabakh War, the Khojaly tragedy, and the martyrs of the Patriotic War.

Prayers and verses from the Quran were recited for the repose of their souls.
