Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazada is to leave for Kazakhstan on October 5.
The purpose of the visit, which will take place at the invitation of Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev, is to attend the XIX session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, scheduled in Nur-Sultan on October 6, Report informs, citing the religious department.
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazada, a regular participant in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and a member of the Congress Secretariat, will also hold meetings with high-ranking officials, deliver a lecture at the Lev Gumilyov Kazakhstan Eurasian University and give interviews to leading media outlets.
The CMO chairman is also slated to meet Azerbaijanis living in Kazakhstan and attend ceremonies to be arranged to commemorate the martyrs of the patriotic war.
