Alban-Udi Christian Religious Community: "Real owners of these places are back"

"The primary purpose of our visits to our religious monuments in our liberated territories is not to leave our cultural heritage, 'God's House' empty. Armenians have assimilated these places for almost two hundred years. I think that this is due to our laziness and humanism," Chairman of the Alban-Udi Christian Religious Community Robert Mobili told Report.

According to him, Armenians have appropriated historical temples belonging to Azerbaijan: "They even tried to falsify our historical monuments. It must be said clearly that they have achieved this in a certain sense. However, no matter how hard they tried, they could not wholly falsify history."

The head of the community said that 'God's house' should not remain empty.

"These churches belong to us. They have nothing to do with Armenians. Over time, we shared this heritage with Armenians. But they thought that they could appropriate these places. Now the real owners are back. The true heir of these monuments is Azerbaijan. And we are religious inheritors."
