Ukraine needs at least 128 F-16 fighters to effectively counter the Russian Armed Forces in the air, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, US, Report informs via Unian.
Zelenskyy underlined that the number of F-16s currently promised to Ukraine by the allies will not be able to fundamentally change the situation on the front.
"The problem with F-16s is related to their number and delivery date. Russia uses 300 aircraft every day in operations against Ukraine,” he added.
