Zelenskyy submits bills to Rada to extend martial law and mobilization

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted bills to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and mobilization in the country until mid-November, according to People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

According to Report, which cites RBC-Ukraine, Zheleznyak said martial law and mobilization will be extended for 90 days: from August 12 to mid-November 2024.

The Defense Committee has already supported the president's proposal.

"Next, 226 votes from the Rada are needed today, along with the president's signature," Zheleznyak added.
