Zelenskyy says talks with Putin no longer possible

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says, during the press conference ‘February. The Year of Invincibility’, it is no longer possible for him to sit at the negotiating table with Putin, Report informs via Ukrinform.

According to Zelenskyy, he was ready for talks with Putin before the Russian full-scale invasion started.

In particular, the Head of State asked President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as other global leaders, to help organize the negotiation process.

“I told: please make Putin sit at the negotiating table. I told him [Erdogan – Ed.]. And not only him. I told many that the risk of full-scale war cannot be allowed. He [the President of Türkiye – Ed.] could not do so then. And not only him. Now he believes he can, but now we cannot. This is no longer the right person [referring to Putin – Ed.]. There is nobody to talk with,” Zelenskyy explained.
