Zelensky: "Had we been ready to give our territory to someone, the war would not have started"

"We are not ready to cede Ukrainian territory to Russia, even for peace," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with CBS, Report informs, quoting from UNIAN.

"We are not ready to give up our state and territories. We have already sacrificed many people. They died to save our state. That is why we are responsible to them. Russia first wanted Crimea, then decided to resolve the Donbas issue. Now it is trying to seize Kherson region. We know that their intention is to seize the south of our country. Had we been ready to give our territory to someone, the war would not have started."
