Zakharova: Russian MFA sent note of protest to Armenian MFA after visit to Bucha

After the visit of the Armenian delegation to Bucha, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a note of protest to the Armenian side, MFA spokesperson Maria Zakharova told NEWS.ru, Report informs.

According to her, Moscow considers the visit of Armenian representatives to the Ukrainian city as an unfriendly step.

“We consider the visit of the heads of the Nor Nork administrative district of the capital, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, and the head of the diplomatic mission of Armenia, Vladimir Karapetyan, to the city of Bucha as an obvious unfriendly step of the official Yerevan. We are concerned about their transfer of aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their unacceptable statements against Russia. We sent a note of protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia,” Zakharova said.

She recalled that Ter-Margaryan is an ally of the chairman of the pro-Western Republican Party, Aram Sargsyan, so his reaction is completely understandable. Zakharova also regretted that the Armenian authorities agreed with such statements.
