Yerevan interested in signing peace treaty with Baku, Armenia's foreign minister says

Armenia is interested in establishing stability in the South Caucasus and is ready to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan as soon as possible, Republic's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan said.

Report informs via Armenian media that Mirzoyan was speaking during a meeting with Ian Borg, OSCE Chairman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Mirzoyan also held talks with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani. The parties discussed the process of normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku.
