Wreaths placed on monument to Armenian soldiers overran, parents furious

The parents and relatives of the dead Armenian soldiers overrun all the wreaths placed by the authorities in front of the memorial monument in Yerablur Military Memorial Cemetery in Yerevan and collected them outside the monument, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.

Police forcefully removed the relatives of the dead soldiers from the territory of the military pantheon. So, the police detained 30 people in that incident.

"If these immoral people allow them to treat the mothers of the dead like this, their wreaths should not be here. They rub salt into the wound," said a relative of one of the dead soldiers.

Relatives of the soldiers who died on September 20 said they intend to serve at the pantheon all night to prevent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from entering the alley with the traditional visit that coincides with Independence Day. The parents were angered by some statements of the Prime Minister, which they considered to be cynical and inappropriate. However, the Prime Minister was able to enter the territory of the pantheon without any problems.
