Waste bins off Iranian streets out of fear they may be used as barricades

Authorities in Iran are removing waste bins from the streets of big cities as protests are expected to continue across the country.

Report informs that numerous videos posted on social networks show the waste bins being taken off the streets.

This is due to the fact that the participants of the anti-government protests use construction containers as barricades and burn the waste bins.

The mass protest in memory of the events of 2015 is expected in Iran on November 15. On the same day back in 2015, the country was overwhelmed with protests against increase in prices on essential goods and fuel. Their brutal suppression claimed some 1,500 lives.
