President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated Azerbaijan on the occasion of Victory Day.
According to Report’s correspondent from Tashkent, Mirziyoyev was speaking at the ECO summit in the capital of Uzbekistan.
He also noted the importance of restoring territorial integrity and sovereignty throughout the country, which Azerbaijan achieved during the 44-day war and subsequent actions.
The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit began its work in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. It is attended by the heads of state and government of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Türkiye.
An agreement to hold this event was reached during the 27th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the ECO member states on October 10, 2023 in the city of Shusha.
