US imposes sanctions on Belarusian officials

The US State Department has imposed visa sanctions on several Belarusian government officials, said Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Report informs.

The sanctioned persons are accused of carrying out a series of repressions against Olympic champion Krystsina Tsimanouskaya, as well as journalists, public activists, and dissidents.
