The US embassy in Armenia has issued a statement ahead of November 5 protests in Yerevan, Report informs, citing Armenian media.
"Local media outlets indicate that demonstrations are expected to take place near France Square on November 5, 2022, starting at approximately 15:00, possibly followed by a march," the embassy said in the statement.
According to it, demonstrations can be unpredictable, and participants could change direction at any moment, creating new traffic and movement blockages.
"Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly become violent," the statement noted.
The embassy urged to avoid the area, monitor local media for updates and avoid crowds and demonstrations.
