US ambassador to Ankara summoned to Turkish Foreign Ministry

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, David Satterfield has been summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Report informs citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The ambassador was given a protest note on the bill passed by the US House of Representatives on the so-called "Armenian genocide".

Notably, the US House of Representatives passed a resolution Tuesday (Oct 29) officially recognising the "Armenian genocide".
