UN provided Ukraine with humanitarian aid for over $4.5B

The UN provided Ukraine with more than $4.5 billion in humanitarian aid in 2022, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel following a meeting in Kyiv with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths, Report informs.

“We appreciate such support and hope that next year this amount will only increase,” he wrote.

Shmyhal and Griffiths discussed further cooperation in the field of economy, reconstruction and assistance to Ukrainian migrants. They also discussed the establishment of new demining programs.
